This new course is designed for experienced LC/MS users who perform protein analysis on the Thermo Scientific LTQ Orbitrap Velos ETD mass spectrometer equipped with the electron transfer dissociation (ETD) source. The course will introduce students to ETD as an alternative to collision induced dissociation (CID) for the structural analysis of proteins and peptides and the identification of post-translational modifications (PTM).
