This course is designed for new users of Thermo Scientific Antaris analyzers and lab managers, supervisors or others responsible for setup and administration of the analyzer and system software. This course provides a thorough review of Thermo Scientific software programs running on the Antaris system, including RESULT and TQ Analyst. Users will also learn the basic care and operation of their instruments. Upon completion of the course the student will: • Understand the strengths and limitations of near-infrared spectroscopy for analysis and routine materials characterization • Understand different approaches to implementing an FT-NIR analyzer as a routine or real-time analysis tool • Understand basic sampling procedures and systems diagnostics for the Antaris FT-NIR analyzer • Develop a workflow procedure to collect, quantify and report data using RESULT™ software • Be familiar with basic method development principles using TQ Analyst software
